Response to use IDC technology for Web commerce

ORLANDO, Fla.-Response Service Center L.L.C., a wholly owned subsidiary of the American Automobile Association, will use Integrated Data Communications’ voice channel-associated data transport technology for operator-assisted, speech-assisted and Web-enabled location commerce.

“IDC provides Response with a universal, low-cost approach to outfitting its subscribers with a new level of quality service,” said Dan Allen, president and chief executive officer of IDC. “This alliance drives unique, network-independent services onto all digital and analog wireless platforms for the first time.”

Response expects the services to be operational by next year.
