SCHAUMBURG, Ill.-Motorola Inc. and MasterCard International said they will commit resources in a joint effort to speed mobile commerce deployments.
The companies will collaborate on research and development projects to assure interoperability between MasterCard’s electronic payment system and Motorola’s Internet-enabled wireless devices.
Motorola and MasterCard also said they plan to develop new m-commerce technologies that support initiatives of the Global Mobile Commerce Interoperability Group, of which both companies are members.
