BOULDER, Colo.-CellPort Labs Inc. changed its name to Cellport Systems Inc. to reflect what the company says is the evolution from a research and development firm to a customer-driven wireless connectivity and Internet plumbing systems provider.
The privately held company develops and markets in-vehicle wireless communications systems.
“We’ve spent the last eight years developing and patenting wireless mobile connectivity and Internet plumbing systems for business and individual use,” noted Pat Kennedy, chief executive officer of Cellport.
