VERNON HILLS, Ill.-Telular Corp. announced it has entered into a non-exclusive worldwide patent license agreement with Andrew Corp. to manufacture and sell a docking station for digital cellular handsets using Telular’s patented interface technology.
Telular noted it has received an initial license fee of $1 million from Andrew as part of the agreement.
According to Telular, a wireless handset inserted into the docking station will enable a fax, modem or any other telephone device to control the digital cellular handset and communicate via voice, fax and/or data and provide Internet access over the digital wireless network.
