PALO ALTO, Calif.-Corsair Communications Inc. reported revenues for the third quarter of $17.1 million, an increase from the $12 million in revenues reported for third-quarter 1998.
The company had net earnings of $2.9 million, or 16 cents per share, compared with a net loss of $3.1 million, or 17 cents per share, for the same time the previous year.
“In the third quarter, we continued to see strong growth in our PrePay product,” said Tom Meyer, president and chief executive officer of Corsair. “We believe this product will be the cornerstone of our continued growth through the balance of 1999 and into the year 2000.”
Meyer said the company’s PhonePrint product contributed to solid recurring revenue, and Corsair’s international expansion also is going well.
“During the quarter, we installed new systems in Colombia, Malaysia and Venezuela,” Meyer said.
