SCHAUMBURG, Ill.-Motorola Inc. announced it signed a multiyear contract with JP Realty Inc.
in Salt Lake City to manage the radio-frequency communications equipment facilities located on JP Realty’s
property.
Increasingly, wireless communications service providers are placing their equipment on the rooftops of
industrial, commercial and large residential properties such as those owned by JP Realty.
“Many companies
are realizing that having communication towers on their property can be a way to generate new revenues; however,
they also are realizing they don’t have the time or expertise to manage this new investment,” said Jerry Blazek,
director of site acquisition for Motorola’s Antenna Site Management business.
“Motorola,” said Blazek,
“can help property owners maximize their potential revenue from a rooftop communications facility.”
