ATLANTA-LHS Group Inc. said it has been accepted as a member of the new Multimedia Super Corridor in Malaysia, an initiative to encourage technological innovation and attract foreign partners who have valuable and advanced technology.
MSC offers incentives, including digital and physical infrastructure, laws that protect intellectual property, minimal bureaucracy and a highly educated work force, said LHS.
Companies that also have been granted MSC status include Motorola Inc., Nokia Corp. and Ericsson Inc., all of which develop new products and technologies specifically for Malaysia.
