WASHINGTON-As forecast in RCR on May 10, Susan Ness was nominated last week by President Clinton for a second six-year term on the Federal Communications Commission. Ness said she was “deeply honored … I am proud to have spent the last five years working to … improve new wireless services, [and] … promote efficient spectrum management.” Ness was the only commissioner left when four new commissioners were appointed in 1997. Her nomination must be approved by the Senate.
