PAGENET CONVERTS MORE STORES, SIGNS CONTENT DEAL

DALLAS-Paging Network Inc. announced it has converted stores in Oklahoma City; Tulsa, Okla.; Portland, Ore.; and Boise, Idaho, to its new Centers of Excellence infrastructure, joining those in Salt Lake City and Dallas-Fort Worth in a transition process expected to include all U.S. customers by the end of the year.

The company also announced it signed a content agreement with Bloomberg L.P. to provide stock and financial news to PageNet subscribers as part of an information services suite expected to launch mid-year. According to the agreement, customers will be able to choose from 12 channels of Bloomberg topics-business and financial news, world news, stock-market updates, U.S. economy news, world stock indices, U.S. composite of most active stocks, U.S. interest and mortgage rates, commodities, currencies, market snapshot and technology news.

Additionally, Bloomberg terminal subscribers will be able to forward Bloomberg information from their terminal to a PageNet device, the company said.
