NEW YORK-Globalstar L.P. announced it is adjusting its launch schedule, delaying a May launch until November so it may take advantage of a newly available launch slot in July.
The change in launch sequence will have no impact on the company’s commercial activation, scheduled for September, the company said.
The new schedule will have the company launching satellites from five Delta II rockets-one in June, two in July and one each in August and December. The company also plans to launch from three Soyuz rockets in September, October and November.
