BEDMINSTER, N.J.-Bell Atlantic Mobile said it will sell Inet’s Spider Cellular Digital Packet Data modem for use with Bell Atlantic Mobile’s AirBridge wireless data service.
Mobile users can slide the Spider CDPD modem into the Type III PC card slot of any laptop computer to access corporate intranets, the Internet and e-mail.
Inet’s Spider CDPD modem is available for $500 when customers sign up for Bell Atlantic Mobile’s AirBridge service, priced at a flat rate of $40 per month for unlimited use.
