CHICAGO-Ameritech Corp. wireless subscribers can call anywhere in the United States and most of Canada on Ameritech’s network without accruing long-distance or roaming charges using the company’s new ClearRate pricing plan.
Roaming prices for local calls that are made while a customer travels outside Ameritech’s network are a flat rate of 39 cents per minute, said the company.
The ClearRate plan starts at $75 per month and includes 600 minutes of airtime. ClearRate is available in Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin.
