WETHERSFIELD, Conn.-Shared Technologies Cellular Inc. announced a five-year extension of its technology licensing agreement with Telemac Corp.
STC said it will feature handset-based prepaid technology from Telemac in its direct-response TV campaigns, use Telemac technology as well as other technologies in its retail distribution programs and work with Telemac to expand its product line.
“We view prepaid cellular as the next true consumer electronics product. It’s only logical, therefore, that STC would elect to strengthen its affiliation with Telemac, whose technology drives this business,” said Sean P. Hayes, executive vice president of STC.
