POWERTEL ANNOUNCES NEW BUSINESS PRICING

WEST POINT, Ga.-Powertel Inc. announced a new service plan for business customers that
combines the use of multiple customers to provide a consistent and predictable wireless plan costing 10 cents per
minute, including long-distance service.

Powertel’s Group Billing Plan requires businesses and organizations to pay
a $10 per user monthly charge with wireless airtime billed at 10 cents per minute, including long distance, for calls
made from the company’s 12-state Powertel network. The plan includes a group airtime minimum of $40 per line. For
example, if the total airtime charges for the group average more than $40 per line, the minimum has been met and no
billing adjustments will be made. The plan also requires the account to include at least five lines and will be set up as a
single account and receive one bill.

“With Powertel Group Billing, businesses pay only for the minutes their
employees use, unlike the traditional bundled minute packages commonly offered by other wireless carriers,”
said Mike Bashaw, Powertel vice president of marketing and product development.
