BELLSOUTH WIRELESS USERS MOST SATISFIED, STUDY SAYS

MOUNTAIN LAKES, N.J.-A study conducted by Solomon-Wolff Associates showed AT&T
Corp. has the highest level of satisfaction among the three largest long-distance companies.

The study reported that
among Internet users, for both local and telephone wireless service, BellSouth Mobility customers were “by far
the most satisfied as compared to customers of other carriers.”

Conducted through Solomon-Wolff’s consumer
survey Web site in July, the study, Telecom 2001, measured customer satisfaction with regard to a variety of
communications services, including local and long-distance telephone, wireless, cable, satellite and paging. A random
sample of 6,000 participants were chosen from the 60,000 Internet users who completed the survey.

Joey Wolff, a
partner at Solomon-Wolff Associates, noted satisfaction amongst communications customers varied
greatly.

“And surprisingly, the variations are equally as strong for established services as they are for new
ones, including Internet access and satellite,” said Wolff.
