HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.-Microwave Power Devices Inc. announced it received a $12.4 million follow-on order from Lucent Technologies Inc. for highly linear, single-channel, high-power PCS-CDMA amplifiers.
The amplifiers are for use in Lucent’s Code Division Multiple Access-based personal communications services base stations.
Microwave Power said its backlog now totals about $96 million, of which 53 percent is in commercial products.
