CHARLOTTE, N.C.-Glenayre Technologies Inc. introduced a Distributed Network Configuration Server, which it said allows paging carriers to automatically synchronize WMtp-based networks over a single city or several counties.
This means carriers can make changes to any part of their WMtp network over a large area without incurring large networking costs. For instance, the server automatically can reconfigure the entire system when a new switch is added to the network, rather than through manual reconfiguration.
