NEW YORK-WinStar Communications Inc. said it provides local number portability in 15 of its 27 markets and plans to deploy LNP service on a nationwide basis by the end of the year.
WinStar’s 15 LNP markets are Atlanta; Baltimore; Boston; Chicago; Dallas; Denver; Houston; Kansas City, Mo.; Los Angeles; New York; Philadelphia; Phoenix; San Diego; Seattle; and Washington, D.C.
The 11 markets the company anticipates adding this year are Columbus, Ohio; Detroit; Fort Worth, Texas; Milwaukee; Minneapolis; Newark, N.J.; Oakbrook, Ill.; Oakland, Orange County and San Francisco, Calif.; and Tampa, Fla.
