ALAMEDA, Calif.-Geoworks Corp. said it signed a co-marketing agreement with Fujitsu Software Corp. to promote its new Premion Information Service through Fujitsu’s ByeDesk Link server software application.
Fujitsu’s ByeDesk Link is a software application that is installed on a corporate intranet server or hosted by an Internet service provider or Global System for Mobile communications-based cellular carrier.
Premion relays information such as United Press International news, stock quotes from Data Broadcasting Corp., restaurant reviews from Zagat Survey and door-to-door driving directions from Etak Inc. Geoworks is offering a pilot version of the Premion Information Service to users of Fujitsu’s wireless Web site.
