CORRECTION

In an article on China, “The Promise Land,” page 33, in the May-June issue of Global Wireless, Great Dragon Telecommunications (GDT) of China was listed as having developed a GSM mobile switching sub-module based on technology from U.S.-based General DataComm. It should have said that GDT has developed a GSM mobile switching center based on GlobalSwitch technology provided under an agreement with U.S.-based DSC Communications.
