CAMPBELL, Calif.-P-Com Inc. announced it completed its acquisition of the Wireless Communications Group of Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Cylink Corp.
P-Com acquired the unit for $60.5 million, $46 million of which was in cash and $14.5 million in a short-term, non-interest bearing unsecured subordinated promissory note, the company said.
According to P-Com, the Cylink’s spread spectrum products will complement its existing spread spectrum radio product line to offer a broader range of offerings with capacities as low as 19 kilobytes per second and as high as 4T1/E1.
