WASHINGTON-Kari-Pekka “K-P” Wilska of Nokia Mobile Phones Inc. and Richard Ekstrand of Rural Cellular Corp. have been elected to the board of directors of the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association’s Foundation for Wireless Telecommunications. They assume their new positions immediately.
Wilska, president of Nokia Mobile Phones, supervises manufacturing, logistics, sales, marketing and post-sales activities for Nokia in North and South America.
Ekstrand has been president of Rural Cellular since 1991. Rural Cellular provides cellular and paging services in northern Minnesota, western Wisconsin, eastern North Dakota and Maine.
