Pagerola Corp. announced that it changed its name to GoComm Wireless Corp., pursuant to an undisclosed agreement with Motorola Inc., which had threatened to sue for trademark infringement, according to the company.
Pagerola, a small pager manufacturer based in Texas with production facilities in Taiwan, said it did not believe there was any confusion between its pagers and Motorola’s, but relented because it said it could not afford to defend a lawsuit.
