WASHINGTON-U S West Wireless has chosen Cibernet’s Financial Net Settlement Program as a means to settle roamer billings between roaming partners, allowing U S West to use a single funds transfer to make or receive payments from all other wireless carriers in the program.
Working with carriers and clearinghouses, Cibernet determines each carrier’s net position as a net debtor or creditor, and oversees the monthly settlement of funds between roaming partners in the program, said the company.
Cibernet said its Financial Net Settlement Program has been serving the wireless industry for almost 10 years, processing more than $3 billion in roamer billings annually.
