SAO PAULO, Brazil-Motorola Inc.’s Cellular Infrastructure Group began producing analog and digital Code Division Multiple Access cellular base stations at its new manufacturing facility in Brazil.
The 50,000-square-foot facility, located in Jaguariuna in the state of Sao Paulo, is the first facility completed in Motorola do Brasil’s multiphased, 200-acre campus project, said the company. Once completed, Motorola do Brasil will house other Motorola business units. The facility will produce the SC family of base stations for both analog and
CDMA digital cellular network deployments in Brazil.
