SINGAPORE-Motorola Inc.’s Asia-Pacific Paging Networks Division announced it signed a paging infrastructure contract with Liaoning Province Mobile Communications Ltd. in China.
The contract, valued at $14 million, is for a high-speed paging multifrequency roaming network based on its FLEX technology.
Under the contract, Motorola said it plans to provide 14 complete sets of its wireless messaging system products to cover the entire province.
The network is expected to support 2.3 million subscribers.
