BELLEVUE, Wash.-AccessLine Technologies Inc. said it granted rights to Glenayre Technologies Inc. and its Glenayre Electronics subsidiary to use AccessLine’s call routing and monitoring technologies.
According to AccessLine, Glenayre previously had infringed its patent by using the technology in Glenayre’s modular voice processing platform and GL3000 paging terminals. The new agreement allows Glenayre to continue using the technology and requires the company to pay royalties for past usage as well as ongoing revenues for the life of the patents.
The patents relate to branch routing of calls, scheduled routing of calls, and a telecom platform’s ability to monitor calls in progress and return callers to the platform for additional processing after making outbound calls, said the company.
