FORT WORTH, Texas-Motorola Inc.’s Messaging Systems Products Group announced that Moscow-based Complex Communications Systems Ltd. and Page-Link Technology are now licensees of Motorola’s FLEX protocol for one-way paging.
This follows the Russian government’s decision to adopt the FLEX protocol as one of its national paging standards, and the subsequent adoption of the protocol in August by Mobile Telecom, Russia’s largest paging operator. These latest agreements mark the second and third licenses of Motorola’s FLEX technology in Russia.
