Newcomer Datamarine International Inc.pulled a first-place finish in percentage gain in net income from 1995 to 1996. NEC Corp., the prior top placer, moved down to the sixth rank. Other newcomers to the ranks of major players in net income change closed out the 1995-1996 period near the top: Specialty Teleconstructors Inc. at second and IFR Systems Inc. at fourth. Bright Voice Systems Inc., which had ranked ninth in the earlier year-to-year period, moved into third place.
