NOKIA TO SUPPLY WIRELESS ALLIANCE

WESTLAKE, Texas-Nokia Corp. agreed to supply Global System for Mobile communications personal communications services network equipment to Wireless Alliance L.L.C. Nokia values the contract at $20 million.

During the initial phase of the contract, Nokia will supply GSM-1900 base station controllers and high-capacity indoor base stations. The company also will supply its PrimeSite base stations. The equipment will be installed beginning in August.

Wireless Alliance is a PCS joint venture of Rural Cellular Corp. and APT Minneapolis Inc., an affiliate of Aerial Communications Inc.
