SHERMAN OAKS, Calif.-Voice Powered Technology International Inc. signed an agreement with MobileMedia Corp., settling a dispute between the companies.
MobileMedia paid VPTI $252,400 in settlement of the $452,4000 claimed by VPTI under a previously signed settlement agreement. MobileMedia will continue to pay fees to VPTI on revenues earned by MobileMedia resulting from the use of MobileMedia’s nationwide paging service by purchasers of VPTI’s voice organizer/pager.
VPTI said MobileMedia will continue to provide nationwide paging service to VPTI’s customers of the organizer/pager, and MobileMedia will cooperate in marketing the product.
