WASHINGTON-Pocket Communications Inc. has selected Danet Inc. as its nationwide billing and customer care software provider. Danet will install customized billing software and systems, which will enable pricing and packaging of personal communications services features such as voice mail, data, fax and short messaging.

ATG and Phoenix combine products
CLEVELAND-Allen Telecom Group and Phoenix Wireless Group Inc. have combined their product lines to address the challenge of finding cost effective ways to extend service in remote or less populated areas, the companies announced.
For the international marketplace, ATG’s SmartCell, a wireless communication system, has been integrated with Phoenician architecture for wireless local loop and mobility applications.
“The integration of the Phoenician System Control Subassembly into the ATG SmartCell wireless system combines the best technological competencies of each organization,” said Phoenix Wireless Chief Operating Officer Paul Mueller.
