THATCHAM, England-Paragon Software Ltd. announced a new version of its FoneMail software that supports short messaging service across Global System for Mobile communications networks.
FoneMail provides two-way messaging capability for any personal computer running Windows 95 software, the company said. The PC is connected to the digital GSM phone by a data card or cable connection, which is included with the software.
“Users who conduct their business on the move can now send and receive messages quickly and efficiently, simply by adding FoneMail to the tools they already use-a mobile phone and a portable PC,” said Mike Rudd, Paragon’s sales and marketing director.
