SAN DIEGO-Qualcomm Inc. said it has signed a license agreement with Forest, Va.-based Grayson Electronics Co., a subsidiary of The Allen Group Inc.
Under the terms of the agreement, Grayson has been granted a worldwide, royalty-bearing license to manufacture and sell Code Division Multiple Access test equipment, said Qualcomm.
“With so many PCS providers now committed to CDMA, we foresee outstanding opportunities for wireless measurement products using Qualcomm’s technology,” said Grayson Electronics President Terry Garner.
Grayson manufactures range extension and wireless measurement products for the critical site survey and frequency clearing stages of system deployment. The new CDMA test equipment products will be available early in the third quarter, said Qualcomm.
