John Dolan, principal of C-block personal communications services bidding interest North Coast Mobile Communications Inc., filed an amended Form 175 application with the Federal Communications Commission that names his uncle, Cablevision chairman Charles Dolan, as the provider of a secured loan he used for company funding.
Dolan also reported that “additional funds required for the auction are the subject of a loan agreement between the company and Charles Dola*…*NCMC also is engaged in discussions with Charles Dolan concerning possible equity investment in the company.”
PacBell PCS a go in San Francisco
The San Francisco Planning Commission approved Pacific Bell Mobile Services’ request for conditional use permits to activate a personal communications services network.
“This was a carefully considered decision, indicating that the Planning Commission understands the importance of this new technology to the city’s economic future and to the citizens who will benefit from it,” said Lyn Daniels, president and chief executive officer of PacBell.
