WILDFIRE UPGRADE WILL ALLOW COORDINATED COMMUNICATIONS

LEXINGTON, Mass.-Wildfire Communications Inc. announced an upgrade to its Wildfire Electronic Assistant, a service available through service providers nationwide that coordinates all of a professional’s daily telephone communications as a personal assistant would.

The electronic assistant now offers on-the-move telephone conferencing from any phone, anywhere, the company said. Using speech recognition technology, users can initiate conference calls easily with the help of their Wildfire Electronic Assistant. The device calls the other parties and conferences everyone together using natural voice commands, Wildfire said.

The company also announced a new sales model designed to reduce the price of the Wildfire Electronic Assistant. Rather than purchasing bundled Wildfire servers directly from Wildfire, authorized service providers can purchase hardware from their choice of Wildfire approved business partners, and the Wildfire Assistant software from Wildfire. The company said the new pricing structure gives service providers significant cost savings and more flexibility in purchasing Wildfire servers.
