SEVEN SMALL BUSINESSES JOINING NAWI’S NETWORK

VIENNA, Va.-North American Wireless Inc. announced that seven small businesses have agreed to participate in its nationwide network. The firms are planning to bid in the Federal Communications Commission’s personal communications services C-block auction scheduled to start Dec. 11.

NAWI said it is focusing on creating a reseller-friendly community of C-block companies. By aggregating network capacity from basic trading areas around the company, NAWI will offer resellers a nationwide footprint and reduced roaming prices from a single source, the company said.

The companies that will join with NAWI include Poka Lambro Telephone Cooperative, Tahoka, Texas; K & M Engineering, Washington, D.C.; Integrated Communications Group, San Francisco; Mountain Solutions, Lakewood, Colo.; Kansas Star, Raleigh, N.C.; Advanced Wireless Services, Houston; and USA PCS, Vancouver, Wash.
