MINNEAPOLIS-ADC Telecommunications Inc. filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed public offering of 5.5 million shares of the company’s common stock.
ADC said net proceeds from the offering will be used for general corporate purposes, including working capital, capital expenditures and possible acquisitions or strategic alliances.
The offering is being managed by Lehman Brothers and Goldman, Sachs & Co.
ADC designs, manufactures and markets transmission products for telecommunications providers, including cellular carriers.
