If you’re one of the 140,000 regulars who visit us every month, then you’re hopefully noticing a new look and organization to the site. If you’re a brand new visitor, then we hope to serve your information needs so that you’ll come back for more every day. For either of you, we’d like to point you to several of these features of the site, some of which are brand new and all of which will help us live up to our new tag line: “Intelligence on all things wireless.”
Go broad by visiting any of the new sections organized around today’s hottest topics. In fact, our new organization scheme is comprised of 25 specialized, inter-related sites that focus on specific segments within the wireless industry (check out the list of sections on the left-hand side of our new site). Within each section, you’ll be presented with the news and research of primary relevance to just your chosen topic. It’s designed to be an easy way for you to access the intelligence you need to stay up-to-date on the information you need without having to dig through news that doesn’t impact you. And people who prefer a broad overview will continue to get that by visiting our home page.
Go deep as we filter the Web for you. In addition to our full staff or editors bringing you essential information on the industry, we’ll be scouring the best of the Internet each day for all sorts of interesting, high-quality articles and reports for you to read (see this example). In addition, we’ve got tons of research if you’re looking for long-term trends and predictions.
We’re fully open for you now. No longer are we restricting access to a few members. You can search and read any of the 150,000+ articles that we have in our archives.
Multimedia platform – videos, podcasts, photoguides to name just a few. We’ve upgraded our Careers “Hot Jobs” section to better help connect professionals looking for new challenges with the employers who need them. And we’ll continue to push our new Web studio to the max to go well beyond the printed word.
Engage with us. Comment back on articles. Send us news tips. And we’ve got lots more to come. Over the next months we’ll invite you to communicate with your community of wireless professionals through our network of blogs.
We’ve made every effort to be “ready for prime time” right from the start, but Web publishing does occasionally challenge even the most experienced among our team. So please forgive our construction dust and bear with us for a short period while we make sure that every link brings you to the intended location.
Most importantly, ping us on your opinions of how this new site is working for you and what you’d like us to deliver to you every day. We really do want your feedback – good and bad so we can better understand what you want from us. So explore our white papers, polls, financial information and more. Thank you in advance for taking the time to tell us.
Sincerely,
Tracy Ford, [email protected] Alan Bergstein, [email protected]
