Verizon Wireless unveiled what it said is the first mobile phone with a built-in detachable Bluetooth headset.
The Decoy, from LG Electronics Co. Ltd., features a docking port on the back that houses the small headset, which can be released by pressing a button on the top of the phone. The phone, which supports the carrier’s Vcast Video and Music services, also offers a 2.2-inch LCD screen, a two-megapixel camera and a memory card slot for microSD cards.
The phone hit shelves today and offers up to 230 minutes of talk time or 330 of standby time, according to Verizon Wireless. It sells for $180 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a two-year contract.
