As a BlackBerry user, my main gripe about Android phones is that I just can’t find one that suits my incessant e-mailing habit. The on-screen keyboards just don’t cut it, no matter what new-fangled system the phone is using. i just want my QWERTY brick, goddamit!
It seems like Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. has been listening closely, however, having just announced an Android BlackBerry look-alike called the Galaxy Pro.
The portrait QWERTY Android phone runs Froyo (2.2), sports an 800 MHz processor, a 3-megapixel camera and a 2.8-inch touch display. Average and boring enough for your average BlackBerry user, you say?
There’s even a video for those interested:
Not sure when this model will be landing in the United States, but word on the street is that the phone will be coming to the U.K.’s 3 network soon. No details on pricing are yet available though.
