LOS ANGELES-Brightpoint Inc. announced an agreement to distribute products for mobile virtual network operator Amp’d Mobile Inc.
The Indiana-based distributor of phones and accessories will perform inventory management, product fulfillment and distribution, returns management and credit services for Amp’d, which is slated to launch later this year. Other Brightpoint MVNO customers include Boost Mobile L.L.C., EDT, Mobile ESPN L.L.C., Movida Communications Inc., Primus Wireless, TracFone Wireless Inc. and XE Mobile.
“We are excited about working with Brightpoint, one of the world’s largest wireless device distributors and provider of customized services to the wireless industry,” stated Blake Isaacs, vice president of product development for Amp’d. “Our selection of Brightpoint will enable us to provide state-of-the-art supply chain services to our customers and retailers with very little ramp-up time.”
