Yesterday we reported that a leaked roadmap had shown not only Tegra 3 coming down Nvidia’s pipeline, but also a Tegra 2 3D chip, prompting speculation about what 3D devices we might have in store for us in 2011.
UK publication TechRadar says it can reveal PC manufacturer LG may be one of the first to jump on the Tegra 2 3D bandwagon, with a 3D version of its Android-based G-slate tablet which already sports a Tegra 2.
The site says gaming firm Nintendo also has plans to launch a glasses-free 3DS handheld console in March, but whether this will run on Tegra, or be updated to Tegra 2 3D at any point is still unknown.
One thing’s for sure, though, 3D isn’t a trend that seems to be fading any time soon.
