MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.-Ruckus Wireless, which provides a wireless multimedia system that works on standard Wi-Fi technology in the home, raised $9 million in its second financing round.
The company, formerly known as Video54, said it will use proceeds to enhance product development and to scale its sales and marketing activities. Ruckus said its total financing to date is more than $14 million.
Sutter Hill Ventures and Investor Growth Capital led the new financing, which was joined by existing investors Sequoia Capital and WK Technology Fund.
The company also announced it appointed Wen Ko, founding managing director of WK Technology Fund, to its board of directors.
