SAN DIEGO-Network provider Wireless Facilities Inc. has won a $10 million network services contract to provide second- and third-generation network optimization for a major wireless carrier in Europe.
The company said the contract is an extension of services they are already providing to the carrier
“WFI has become a global expert in providing 2G and 3G optimization expertise to many of the major carriers of the world,” said Igor Leprince, managing director of WFI Europe, Middle East and Africa. “This carrier in particular has a strong vision for developing a robust communication network for its customers, and we are pleased to have cultivated such a deep relationship with this important carrier, one of the largest wireless carriers in Europe deploying next-generation services.”
WFI provides design, deployment and management of wireless networks, technology networks and security systems for carriers, enterprise customers and government agencies in more than 100 countries.
