CAMBRIDGE, United Kingdom-TTP Communications plc said it signed an agreement to license its AJAR cellular applications platform to Motorola Inc.
The AJAR platform combines an applications framework, a toolset for developing and testing applications, and a complete suite of applications to ensure devices developed using the product have standard qualities. The platform is expected to improve productivity throughout Motorola’s product development lifecycle, said the companies.
The platform’s pre-integrated applications include Java, multimedia messaging service, WAP 2.0, digital camera support, embedded and downloadable games, and polyphonic ringtones.
