Andrew May is my guest in this episode of Coders, and as one of the organizers behind Codestock, he’s talking conferences. Codestock is an annual developer’s conference held in Knoxville, TN. This year’s conference had over 900 attendees, and featured a comprehensive array of panels and sessions.
As May notes, many developers are also entrepreneurs these days, so there was a healthy dose of business-related information sharing at Codestock as well.
May is also a developer who has attended his fair share of conferences in the past, and he discusses some tips for new attendees. Most of it begins with planning, but don’t forget to allow serendipity to lead you to new opportunities.
