SAN JOSE, Calif.-Digital Microwave Corp. said it has signed a two-year agreement with BellSouth Corp. to supply digital microwave radios. Digital Microwave’s products will be used to connect the cell sites in BellSouth’s personal communications services network to be built in North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, Digital Microwave said.
“We are pleased to receive this contract and excited about the opportunity it presents for us to participate with BellSouth in the emerging U.S. PCS marketplace,” said Chuck Kissner, Digital Microwave president and chief executive officer.
