CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Glenayre Technologies Inc. said MobileMedia Corp. has agreed to purchase paging infrastructure equipment and installation services to expand MobileMedia’s nationwide paging network.
Glenayre will provide 56 wireless messaging switches, 650 transmitters and 650 controllers. The purchase is valued at $20 million, Glenayre said. The expansion will allow MobileMedia to offer paging services on its nationwide frequency. Glenayre is scheduled to complete installation by the end of the year.
