STOCKHOLM, Sweden-L.M. Ericsson announced it has signed an agreement with Motorola Inc. giving Ericsson a license to use Motorola’s high-speed paging protocol, FLEX. The license includes pagers and infrastructure equipment.
Ericsson said it is seeking to support multiple standards in a number of areas, including wide area paging. The company already supports POCSAG as well as ERMES.
